(Greensboro, NC) - There won't be any fans in the stands when the Louisville basketball team opens ACC tournament play in Greensboro, North Carolina Thursday night.
The ACC announced Wednesday the rest of the tournament will be played with only essential staff, limited family and credentialed media inside the Greensboro Coliseum.
The decision is based on the NCAA COVID-19 Advisory Panel's recommendation for sporting events. The NCAA tournament will be played under the same conditions.
